When it comes to window tinting for cars, the options can be overwhelming. With various shades, materials, and benefits to consider, selecting the perfect tint for your vehicle can be a daunting task. At Pensacola Window Tinting, we’re committed to helping you make an informed decision. We’ll explore the different types of window tints available for cars, their benefits, and what to consider when choosing the right one for your ride.

Dyed Tints

Dyed window tints are the most common type of tint and are available in a range of shades, from light to dark. They’re made by applying a dye to the film, which absorbs sunlight and reduces heat gain. Dyed tints are a cost-effective option and provide excellent UV protection. However, they may not be as effective at blocking heat as other types of tints.

Ceramic Tints

Ceramic window tints are the most advanced type of tint available. They’re made by applying a ceramic coating to the film, which provides excellent heat rejection, UV protection, and glare reduction. Ceramic tints are the most expensive option but offer unparalleled performance and durability.

Metalized Tints

Metalized window tints are made by applying a thin layer of metal to the film. This metal layer reflects sunlight and heat, providing excellent heat rejection and UV protection. Metalized tints are more expensive than dyed tints but offer superior performance. They’re also more durable and less prone to fading.
